The man suspected of dousing his girlfriend with gasoline over a laundry dispute was arrested late Monday.
Officers from the San Francisco Police Department’s Special Investigations Division and the U.S. Marshal’s Service took Dexter Oliver into custody at an Oakland hotel after receiving information as to his whereabouts.

Police arrested a 32-year-old San Francisco man Friday in connection with two sexual assaults in the Mission district.
With the help of a tip from the department's anonymous tip line, investigators from Special Victim's Unit were able to identify the suspect and link him to physical evidence found at the scene of the assaults, police said.

Danisa Landaeta, 30, was arrested at Miami International Airport for drawing a picture of a bomb and writing “BOOM” on her friend’s suitcase as a joke. The friend checked in her luggage for a flight from Miami to Venezuela when the ominous picture was noticed. Police spent some $1,000 closing down much of the terminal for an hour and bringing in a dog. Landaeta confessed and was being held on $12,500 bail for a hoax bomb charge.

Relatives of Bryan Stow said Monday they were deeply gratified by news of an arrest Sunday in connection with the assault outside Dodger Stadium that left the Giants fan in critical condition.
Speaking at a news conference outside San Francisco General Hospital and wearing a black “LAPD” cap, Stow’s sister Erin Collins read a statement thanking the Los Angeles Police Department.
