A thankless thug who asked for spare change at a Bayview gas station on Wednesday robbed a 69-year-old man who had agreed to give him money, police said.
The lout asked for cash as the victim got out of his car to pump gas at Third Street and Evans Avenue about 8:40 p.m.
“The victim agreed and pulled a $100 bill from his wallet to pay for the gas,” according to Bayview police.

A man went into the bathroom of a Chevron gas station in the 1100 block of Junipera Serra Boulevard and came out pointing a gun at 7:30 p.m. Monday, police said.
The suspect reportedly made of with cash from the register along with the 33-year-old female clerk’s smartphone, police said.
No one was injured, police said, and no arrest had been made as of Tuesday morning.

A man was robbed at gunpoint in the Excelsior neighborhood Wednesday, police said.
The 35-year-old victim was walking eastbound on Brazil Street toward Vienna about 10:40 p.m. when he was approached by two men in their 20s, police Officer Albie Esparza said. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his money.
