Thousands march through SF to commemorate May Day

May 1 is widely known as International Worker’s Day, with demonstrations and marches occurring across the country highlighting the labor workforce and the populations that represent them. Market Street was flooded with thousands of demonstrators Monday, March 1 in San Francisco, Calif. marking May 1 not only as May Day, but as A Day Without Immigrants, calling out President Donald Trump’s proposed immigration policies and celebrating immigrant’s rights.
