The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency is warning the Pride celebration will impact public transit and lead to street closures downtown this weekend.
“Attendees should expect delays entering the Civic Center Plaza as there will be metal detectors, a combination of walk-through machines and hand-held wands, at all entry points into the plaza on both Saturday and Sunday,” the SFMTA said in a statement.
The Trans March today will first rally at Dolores Park and is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Dolores and 18th streets and end at Turk and Taylor streets. The following Muni lines will be affected: F, J, 5, 5R, 6, 7, 7R, 9, 9R, 19, 21, 22, 33, 47 and 49.
