A man was left with serious injuries after he was stabbed at the edge of the Tenderloin neighborhood Tuesday night, according to San Francisco police.
The 20-year-old man was stabbed on the 800 block of Van Ness Avenue around 9:47 p.m., police said.
The suspect who allegedly stabbed the man has yet to be arrested, police said, but has been identified as a 23-year old male.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were considered life threatening.
This year alone there have been over 60 cases of aggravated assault with a knife in San Francisco, according to City data.
