A pair of inexperienced sailors crashed their 30-foot sailboat into the Raccoon Strait rocks Monday afternoon after their motor conked out.
The sailors sent out a distress call after crashing into the rocks in rough conditions near Angel Island at about 6:45 p.m., according to the Coast Guard.
A local fire boat responded and towed the vessel to the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon. Read More
