The 32-year-old man was reportedly stopped at a red light on Oak Street at Pierce Street at about 12:22 a.m. when the gunman drove up and opened fire on another vehicle that was also stopped at the light.

A man who was hit with a baseball bat in a Western Addition park on Tuesday was accused of striking out with the assailant’s girlfriend, police said.The attack reportedly occurred at Raymond Kimball Playground near Geary Boulevard and Steiner Street at about 4:45 p.m.The victim had been drinking all day with the couple, police said, even though he had only known the pair for one day.

A 38-year-old man reportedly told armed crooks in the Western Addition on Tuesday that he had nothing to give them.
But that didn’t stop one of the thugs from stabbing the man in the torso with a small knife on the corner of Laguna and Grove streets at about 7:20 p.m.
The suspects fled after the pointless attack empty-handed, police said. Thankfully, the victim is expected to survive.
No arrests have been reported.

The victim of a fatal shooting Friday night in the Bayview district was identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office on Sunday as 22-year-old Henry Tautolo of San Francisco.
Tautolo was found on the unit block of Nichols Way at the Alice Griffith public-housing complex about 9 p.m. Friday, police reported. He had been shot multiple times in the upper body, police Officer Albie Esparza said.
Tautolo was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he died.
