An arrest came in the nick of time for San Francisco police investigators probing a brutal 10-year-old sexual assault and robbery case in Golden Gate Park.Police arrested Vinh Q. Chung, 29, at his home in San Jose on Monday, a little more than a month before the statute of limitations on the case was set to expire.Chung was one of three suspects who offered the victim a ride from the Mission district to her home on Nov. 6, 2001. Police seeking person of interest in '07 stabbing

District police are looking for a man they believe has information about a 2007 homicide of a Cuban immigrant in Northwest Washington. Ignacio Cordova was found stabbed to death inside his unit at the Woodner Apartments on Feb. 19, 2007. Police had been called to investigate the site because of a foul odor.
