A day after San Francisco police disbanded the Occupy SF encampment at Justin Herman Plaza, protesters re-erected tents and tarps as officers continued monitoring the situation Monday afternoon.

Ten days after police confiscated tents from protesters who were sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the Federal Reserve Bank on Market Street, Occupy SF has reassembled a camp at Justin Herman Plaza across from the Ferry Building.

A bike-renting operation in San Francisco parks will begin in five locations after the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Tuesday a five-year lease, with one three-year option, with ParkWide Activities, LCC.The rental concessions will be stationed at two locations in Golden Gate Park -- the Bandshell and JFK Drive at Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive -- Marina Green, Justin Herman Plaza and Union Square Plaza.
