A day after San Francisco police disbanded the Occupy SF encampment at Justin Herman Plaza, protesters re-erected tents and tarps as officers continued monitoring the situation Monday afternoon.

A bike-renting operation in San Francisco parks will begin in five locations after the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Tuesday a five-year lease, with one three-year option, with ParkWide Activities, LCC.The rental concessions will be stationed at two locations in Golden Gate Park -- the Bandshell and JFK Drive at Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive -- Marina Green, Justin Herman Plaza and Union Square Plaza.
