A badminton racket is as common in Indonesia as a hockey stick in Canada or a baseball bat in the United States. Kowi Chandra, however, grew up in an Indonesian family that didn’t play badminton. Small early morning earthquake reported in Milpitas

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.6 struck early Saturday morning in Santa Clara County. According to the USGS, the earthquake struck at about 3:45 a.m. and had a depth of about 2.5 miles. The quake was centered about 7 miles east of Milpitas and 9 miles northeast of San Jose City Hall, according to the USGS. Read More
