Daly City woman sentenced to prison in boiling water killing

A cold prison cell awaits this boiling temper. Jesusa Ursonal Tadad, 41, of Daly City was sentenced to 16 years to life in prison Wednesday after pleading no contest to charges that she poured a pot of scalding water on her ex-husband while he was sleeping. He died a week after the incident. Tadad, who remains in custody, will be formally sentenced May 17, said Karen Guidotti, San Mateo County’s chief deputy district attorney. Read More
