Body found in brush could be that of Michele Le

Authorities are trying to determine whether a body found Saturday morning in a brushy area between Pleasanton and Sunol might be that of missing nursing student Michele Le. The body was found near Pleasanton Sunol Road at Verona Road late Saturday morning, in a brushy area near a dirt road, according to Alameda County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. J.D. Nelson. Big-rig crash I-580 sends vehicle onto BART tracks

BART trains are delayed Thursday afternoon because of a crash involving a big-rig and another vehicle on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 between Dublin and Pleasanton that sent one of the vehicles onto nearby BART tracks, authorities said. 3.8-magnitude earthquake felt in Alameda County

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.8 jolted Alameda County tonight. According to the USGS, the earthquake struck shortly before 8:30 p.m. and was centered two miles north-northeast of Sunol and three miles south of Pleasanton.
