Authorities are trying to determine whether a body found Saturday morning in a brushy area between Pleasanton and Sunol might be that of missing nursing student Michele Le.
The body was found near Pleasanton Sunol Road at Verona Road late Saturday morning, in a brushy area near a dirt road, according to Alameda County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. J.D. Nelson.
The body was decomposed and the gender remains unknown at this point.

BART trains are delayed Thursday afternoon because of a crash involving a big-rig and another vehicle on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 between Dublin and Pleasanton that sent one of the vehicles onto nearby BART tracks, authorities said.
The crash was reported at about 2:30 p.m. on eastbound Highway 580 just west of Foothill Road, California Highway Patrol Officer Marc Johnston said.

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.8 jolted Alameda County tonight.
According to the USGS, the earthquake struck shortly before 8:30 p.m. and was centered two miles north-northeast of Sunol and three miles
south of Pleasanton.
Alameda County fire officials said there were no immediate reports of damage due to the temblor.
