The City’s famed Harding Park Golf Course will continue to be subsidized by The City despite the fee hike approved by the Board of Supervisors in a second and final vote Tuesday. The vote was 10-0. Supervisor Michela Alioto-Pier was excused from the meeting.
Nonresidents will start paying $15 more to hit the links. Weekday rates will increase from $135 to $150 and weekend rates from $155 to $170, which is about a 10 percent increase.

There would be a $15 increase for nonresidents — making it $150 on weekdays and $170 on weekends — and a 2.9 percent increase for residents, which is about $1.30 since the resident price is about $46, according to Recreation and Park Department documents.
