On Tuesday, Mar introduced legislation that would establish what he is calling a Healthy Food Retailer Incentives Program, which would be administered by the Office of Economic and Workforce Development.

While rifling through his 10-year-old daughter’s toy drawer he was horrified to find how many McDonald’s Happy Meal and Burger King toys she had stowed away. It was a real wake-up call telling him how many fast-food calories his daughter had consumed over the years.
