Woman wakes to find intruders in Sunset home

A 40-year-old woman was woken up in her Sunset district apartment early Sunday morning by two men who fled by the time police arrived. Police are investigating the crime and the motive behind it since nothing was stolen. The break-in occurred around 12:30 a.m. at a home in the 1700 block of 27th Avenue, police Lt. Lyn Tomioka said. “The victim was sleeping in her downstairs apartment and was woken up by one of the suspects,” Tomioka said. Read More
