HIV-positive individuals in San Francisco who lack steady access to nutritious food are hospitalized and visit emergency rooms at a high rate, according to a study released Wednesday. The study by UC San Francisco researchers, published online in the Journal of General Internal

Woman accused of bleeding UC San Francisco hospital dry

A heartless former finance manager for the transplant unit at UC San Francisco is accused of bilking more than $17,000 from her employer, prosecutors said. Some of the stolen funds were allegedly spent on $350 dog grooming sessions.
