Voters can start casting ballots for the Nov. 2 election on Monday on the ground floor of City Hall starting at 8 a.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend voting will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the two weekends before the election – Oct. 23-24 and Oct. 30-31. For weekend access to City Hall, the public must enter on Grove Street.

In an effort to get San Francisco’s vote out, The City’s Department of Elections has launched a new voter-registration look-up tool on its Web site. The tool — which is available in English, Chinese and Spanish — will confirm their registration and show the voter their party affiliation, location of their polling place and an image of their sample ballot. The new tool can be found online at www.sfgov.org/elections.
