The 75th anniversay plans for the Golden Gate Bridge were revealed Friday, and they will be anchored by a two-day festival over Memorial Day weekend in 2012.

The Presidio Trust, the federal group in charge of managing operations at the old Army base, has announced three new members to its Board of Directors.
The appointments, which come straight from President Barack Obama, will add two business leaders and an environmental expert to the seven-person Board. William Hambrecht is a financier, Charlene Harvey is a consultant and David Grubb — former chair of the Presidio Board — is a conservationist.
