San Francisco police make arrest in human trafficking sting

Authorities busted two men during a police sting conducted on Monday, one for allegedly pimping out a minor, according to the SFPD. Jaquain Young, 39, of San Francisco, reportedly recruited a minor for commercial sexual services. According to the cops, Young agreed to meet the juvenile at 48th Avenue and Point Lobos, where he and 25-year-old Ijeoma Ogbuagu were both arrested. Read More

A woman was injured in a drive-by shooting in the Bayview on Sunday, police said.The 40-year-old victim was sitting in a car with two men in the 2400 block of Griffith Street about 4 a.m. when a silver vehicle drove along side and opened fire, police said.Bullets struck the victim’s car and an apartment, police said. A “growling” woman with a knife was arrested Friday after raising the knife over her head in front of the Hall of Justice, according to police. About 1:15 p.m., police said, an officer in full uniform was entering the courthouse at 850 Bryant St. when he encountered the 43-year-old woman, who had been walking out of the building.
