About 7:40 p.m., police began receiving calls about a silver pickup truck that crashed into a house at Florentine and Morse streets.

The 26-year-old victim was walking in the 1600 block of McAllister Street about 10:15 p.m.when she was struck in the torso by a bullet, police said.
