A woman was robbed of more than $10,000 after cashing a check at a bank in South San Francisco on Saturday, police said.
The woman was robbed as she walked on El Camino Real toward Southwood Drive about 4:15 p.m. The crook leaped out of a van, pushed her to the ground and then grabbed her backpack with the cash. He then pointed a gun at her and told her not to call the police or he would kill her, police said.
He fled in the van south on El Camino Real.
