The former Penn State assistant football coach charged with child molestation asked for court permission Friday to see his grandchildren, visits currently prohibited under his bail conditions. A motion filed in Centre County court seeks to allow Jerry Sandusky to contact his 11 grandchildren by email, phone, text and Skype, and to let them visit his central Pennsylvania home if accompanied by a parent. Army chaplain sentenced in Puerto Rico porn case

An assistant U.S. Army chaplain who pleaded guilty to producing child pornography in Puerto Rico has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison. Nicolas Gonzalez Figueroa was accused in a case involving his daughter-in-law's 7-year-old girl. Gonzalez's stepson is married to the girl's mother, but it is unclear if he is her biological father. German priest jailed for 6 years for child abuse

A German court has convicted a Roman Catholic priest of some 250 counts of sexually abusing children over a several-year period and sentenced him to six years in prison. German news agency dapd reported that the state court in Braunschweig on Thursday convicted the priest, who was found guilty of abusing three boys aged 9 to 15 between 2004 and 2011. Read More

SF man gets 205 years in prison for stabbing death

A San Francisco man was sentenced to 205 years to life in prison for stabbing his girlfriend to death and sexually assaulting her two daughters. A jury found 35-year-old Umar Hudson guilty in November of first-degree murder and four counts of sexual assault of a minor. 11th child seized in Mexico trafficking case

Prosecutors in Mexico say they have seized an 11th child in the case of an apparent child-trafficking ring in the western city of Guadalajara that aimed to supply babies to Irish couples. The Jalisco state prosecutor's office says the 4-month-old girl was taken from her mother's home. The office's statement Wednesday also says federal prosecutors are analyzing whether to take over the case. Read More
