The ECHL held a news conference Tuesday to formally introduce the San Francisco Bulls as the 21st member of the long-standing NHL minor-league affiliate.

The ECHL announced Tuesday the San Francisco Bulls will join the league for the 2012-13 season and play their home games at the Cow Palace. A crazed woman wielding a tire iron threatened a driver and cops — all over a dispute about a parking space near the Cow Palace on Monday, police said.Police were called about the enraged woman around 7 p.m. The victim told cops he saw the woman begin to pull out of a space in a parking lot near Geneva Avenue and Santos Street. The woman took her time pulling out of the spot, and the man said he honked his horn to get her attention, hoping to ask if she was leaving, police said.
