St. Ignatius still hasn’t put together four consecutive quarters of solid football, but luckily for the Wildcats, their defense was dominant enough through three to build up a 35-0 lead against Bishop O’Dowd of Oakland.
The Dragons, who outgained St. Ignatius 278-231, rallied in the fourth quarter to cut the final score to 35-20, but the huge deficit was too much to overcome.

The Drew School boys’ soccer team entered Monday’s nonleague contest with Bay School as a team unable to score goals.
But, as the Dragons (2-4) had their way in a 4-0 victory over the Breakers at Crocker Amazon, onlookers were unable to find any weaknesses in the team’s attack whatsoever.
“We just had to keep our confidence in scoring,” said Drew coach Jeff Ramos. “We kept at it and found success.”
