Girl, man brutalized in separate stabbings

A 17-year-old girl was one of two people who were critically injured in vicious stabbings Tuesday, police said. In the incident involving the teen, officers responded at 7 p.m. to a fight that broke out on Valencia Street between 20th and 21st streets.
