The medical examiner's office today identified a San Francisco man fatally shot by police during an armed encounter Sunday morning as 43-year-old Michael Lee.
Lee was shot when police responded to a noise complaint at the Granada Hotel, a retirement community at 1000 Sutter St. in the Nob Hill neighborhood where Lee lived, at about 11:10 a.m.
