Cops witnessed a gun-toting goon chase down two teenagers in the Bayview on Sunday, police said, before fleeing from pursuing officers. Police were on Fitzgerald Avenue near Griffith Street when they reportedly heard gunshots and saw two teenage boys run out from between buildings onto Fitzgerald. Can’t we all just get along? Two people were cut and stabbed in separate roommate arguments last weekend, police said Monday, in the latest incidents of deteriorating domestic relations. The first attack occurred about 5:48 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Jackson Street, police said. A 43-year-old man was involved in an argument with his roommate, a 32-year-old man, and it turned physical, police said. The 32-year-old stabbed the other man in his torso. Read More

Elderly man’s McLaren Park visit not picture perfect

An elderly man taking a photograph in McLaren Park got an image of hell when he was pistol-whipped and robbed of his camera, police said.The 76-year-old man was taking photos in the park near Mansell Street and Visitacion Avenue about 11:15 a.m. A gun-toting crook surprised the man, snatching his camera and attempting to steal his backpack, police said. A 28-year-old woman was beaten, robbed and kidnapped by five ruffians in Visitacion Valley on Saturday, cops said. The woman was walking in the 600 block of Schwerin Street around 2:30 a.m. when she was approached by three men and two women in their 30s, police said. The five proceeded to punch the woman before pushing her into a sedan-type car, cops said. Read More
