Woman robbed of cell phone in San Francisco cafe

A 47-year-old woman was robbed of her cell phone in a downtown cafe Monday morning, police said.The victim was sitting at a table inside the cafe in the unit block of Fifth Street when the thief — a man in his early 20s — swiped her cell phone off the table at around 9:45 a.m. She tried to fight for her phone back, but the suspect got away after a struggle, police said.There has been no arrest. A natural gas leak in the Outer Mission district Monday morning prompted a shelter-in-place advisory at two nearby schools, police said.School officials at Balboa High School and James Denman Middle School kept students indoors after a construction company ruptured a 2-inch high-pressure transmission gas pipeline, according to officials with Pacific Gas & Electric Co. and the fire department.The pipeline has since been capped, and no one was injured, authorities said.
