A 30-year-old man at a rowdy party plunged from the roof of a two-story building on Fell Street while celebrating the famous footrace Sunday.
He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A San Francisco man was stabbed on The Embarcadero Monday evening following a fight that broke out between two groups.The man, described as a black male between the ages of 18 and 20 years old, was stabbed three times in the legs around 4:45 p.m. near Pier 26, according to San Francisco Police Sgt. A San Francisco police officer shot someone in the Mission district’s Garfield Park after trying to detain the suspect for drinking in public, police said.
The officer and the suspect were both taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The officer was attempting to detain someone for drinking in the park at 26th Street and Treat Avenue at about 3:20 p.m., police Officer Albie Esparza said.
