A Hells Angels biker has been indicted on charges that he opened fire on a Daly City home last year, nearly striking two children, while hunting a rival gang member.

The Pacifica lawyer who was arrested on suspicion of passing pills to an inmate at San Mateo County Jail will not be charged, prosecutors said Wednesday, after the “contraband” was found to be over-the-counter sleep medication.

A suspected serial robber who had reportedly pointed a gun at a pregnant clerk’s stomach during one of five recent stickups in Redwood City engaged in a daylong standoff with police Thursday before surrendering about 6:30 p.m.
About 9 a.m., a SWAT team staked out a home on Williams Avenue in the unincorporated Redwood City town of North Fair Oaks. The lone suspect inside the home, 30-year-old Miguel Angel Caballero, refused to surrender, police said.
