San Francisco police are investigating a homicide after finding a woman stabbed to death inside her home near 16th and Mission streets.
Officers responded to the home in the 2000 block of Mission Street on Friday on a report of a body. The Medical Examiner later found that the 59-year-old Yvonne Barillas had been stabbed.

The victim, 22-year-old Dominic Scott, was reportedly shot about 8:24 a.m. when numerous residents heard gunfire and called police, local authorities said.
