Voting is extended into a second day in Congo, following an Election Day that was marred by the late delivery of ballots.
In precincts where voting material had arrived on time, counting on Tuesday was underway.
Pockets of violence were reported throughout the country. Five people were killed in the southeastern town of Lubumbashi on Monday after unidentified gunmen opened fire on a truck carrying ballots and on a polling center.
