Two lanes on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge will be closed from 7 p.m. Monday night to 5 a.m. Tuesday morning for additional roadwork, Caltrans officials announced Monday.
The closure will allow work crews to apply anti-corrosive paint to a recently repaired steel beam and complete some other maintenance work, Caltrans spokesman Bob Haus said. They were not able to do the painting during a recent closure due to rain. Read More
