A Mountain View man was shot in East Palo Alto on Wednesday, East Palo Alto police said. The 35-year-old victim was shot in the 2300 block of Cooley Avenue by an unidentified gunman around 6:48 p.m. Police were alerted to the shooting by a ShotSpotter activation, they said. A car was seen fleeing the area at the time of the shooting. Police described the vehicle as “similar to a silver Toyota Rav 4.” Responding officers found evidence of a shooting but no victim.

A 33-year-old East Palo Alto man was shot in the leg Thursday morning during a home-invasion robbery, police said.Officers responded to the 500 block of Sacramento Street at about 4:40 a.m. when a ShotSpotter activation suggested gunshots were fired in front of a residence, police said.Police learned two men with guns had entered the victim’s home, and a confrontation ensued.The suspects shot the victim in the leg and escaped with stolen property, police said.

A man was injured in a shooting that stemmed from an argument in San Francisco’s Bayview District early Friday morning, a police spokesman said.
