A black Mercedes was seen speeding off from the scene of Wednesday night’s fatal shooting in the Richmond district, according to the police department.On Wednesday, the San Francisco Police Department said the slain man was between 20 and 30 years old, but this morning his age was reported to be 42. Violent pothead robbers held up a Richmond district marijuana club with an uzi and handgun Friday, police said.The thugs fled with cash and heaps of buds but did not “smoke” anyone at the dispensary in the 4800 block of Geary Boulevard, police said. Employees at the Hemp Center located on that block deny being robbed.

An apartment fire in San Francisco's Richmond district on Sunday evening was quickly contained by the building sprinkler system, a San Francisco fire dispatcher said.
Firefighters responded to a 6:40 p.m. report that a two-story building was on fire at Geary Boulevard and 17th Avenue, the fire dispatcher said.
Arriving crews found a room in the building had caught fire, but had been extinguished by the building's sprinkler system. Read More
