Texas parolee accused of sexually assaulting S.F. woman

A man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of a sexual assault Saturday night in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood, police said Wednesday. Arthur Salinas, 57, was booked on several counts of aggravated and sexual assault and for failing to register as a sex offender, among other charges. Salinas has past sexual offense convictions in Texas; he was sentenced to 60 years in prison in 1982, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. He was paroled in 2009. Read More
