A Peninsula school district that is aiming at increased communication between parents and teachers on grades and assignments will have a new system in place this summer.
Sequoia Union High School District — which serves 8,700 students in the communities of Redwood City, Menlo Park and Woodside — awarded a two-year contract to Infinite Campus in October 2009 for use of its system. The two-year contract is estimated at $350,000. Read More
San Mateo-Foster City Elementary School District officials may start looking at property in San Mateo to build another elementary school after a study shows the last available site in Foster City may not be feasible.District officials began searching for a site to build a new school after enrollment projections estimated the district would grow by 13 percent in the next five years. California State University is seeing a record increase in applications this fall, just as budget cuts are forcing the system to reduce its student body by 40,000 over a two-year period, the chancellor said today.
