The DSCC is pouring it on in Colorado — the site of one of the closer races:
CO-SEN (Bennet): $441,000 in television ads and $147,000 in radio ads against Ken Buck, R.
They have also cut an ad against Rand Paul, R, in Kentucky, but no airtime reported yet.

I have been fascinated this cycle by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s unwillingness to give up on a few races that seem well beyond its grasp. Its enormous financial commitment to Pennsylvania ($4 million to date) is at least questionable and getting little in the way of results.

Here are the latest campaign disclosures from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Commitee. Note that they continue to spend ludicrous sums on Missouri and Pennsylvania, despite dismal poll results so far. Note also that they are still spending in Delaware, where their nominee leads by double digits, and they have taken up a new defensive posture in Washington State and West Virginia.

The DSCC has just dropped another $240,000 in ads against Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania. Their total spending there is now almost $3.25 million. The latest poll shows Toomey up by 9, although a few lesser-known pollsters have suggested a closer race.
