A fatal stabbing in the Lower Haight has been deemed self-defense.
A fatal stabbing in the Lower Haight neighborhood during a fight last week has been deemed self-defense, keeping the alleged stabber from facing criminal charges. Three men convicted on gang charges

Three suspected Norteño gang members were convicted in a Mission district robbery recently, according to the District Attorney’s Office. Tyree Johnson, 20, Vincent Rivera, 18, and Kevin Gonzalez, 26, were found guilty of committing robbery for the benefit of a criminal street gang. Rivera was found guilty of committing an assault with a deadly weapon and was also convicted of possessing crack cocaine for purposes of sale. Read More
