A man swiped a diamond ring worth thousands of dollars from a jewelry store clerk’s hand at Westfield San Francisco Centre on Monday, police said.
Before the theft, the crook had whipped out his credit card as if he’d intended to buy the ring, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
