A 30-year-old El Granada man who allegedly brought two firearms onto the College of San Mateo campus last month is scheduled to stand trial Monday. Merit Frank Draven was arrested after cops allegedly found two firearms — including one that was loaded — in his car at a parking lot at the college on Feb. 3. There was no evidence that Draven planned to use the guns at the college, according to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.
