A man was critically injured with a bottle near the Fisherman’s Wharf on Sunday, cops said. The 26-year-old victim was attacked at Beach and Leavenworth streets around 1:35 a.m. police said. The suspect, described by cops as a man in his 30s, hit the victim with the bottle, slammed him to the ground and fled, police said. A firecracker exploded in a woman’s hands in San Francisco on Saturday night, blowing off some of her fingers, police said.The 28-year-old woman was lighting candles inside a parked motor home at about 10:20 p.m. when she picked up what she thought was another candle, police said.It was actually a firecracker, and when she lit it, it exploded in her hands, police said. A man who accidentally bumped into a thug was slashed in the face in the Tenderloin early Friday.
The 28-year-old victim was hospitalized with non life threatening injuries following the abrupt attack at Jones and Ellis streets around 2:35 a.m., police said.
No suspect description was available at the time of this report. The thug fled on foot and there has been no arrest.
A teenager was shot and killed in Visitacion Valley Thursday night, police said.
The victim, approximately 18 years old, was standing in the street near the intersection of Ray and Garrison when two gunmen walked up and shot him multiple times around 10 p.m., police said.
