A 20-year-old Washington state man whose body was pulled from the yacht harbor near the Marina on Tuesday morning was stabbed multiple times in the chest the night before, police said.
Dive teams searched the water Wednesday looking for evidence connected to the case, police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.
“As far as I know, there was no weapon found, but they are searching,” Dangerfield said.

A man whose body washed up in the waters near San Francisco's Fort Mason on Tuesday afternoon has yet to be identified, medical examiner's officials said today.The body was found at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday by a park visitor who saw the body floating in the water near the Firehouse at Lower Fort Mason, National Park Service spokeswoman Alexandra Picavet said.

A woman found the BuddyBike in the common area of an apartment complex, did an Internet search with the brand name and saw police reports that one had been stolen from her neighborhood. Then, she called police.

Improvements to the energy infrastructure at Alcatraz, upgrades to trails and roads at Fort Mason, and an assessment of the Presidio’s coastal pathways will be discussed at a public open house tomorrow at Fort Mason that will cover a series of proposed projects in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
