People chatting on their iPhones have been targeted in a recent string of Hayes Valley robberies occurring in broad daylight.
Police are still looking for a teenager who they believe was involved in four separate incidents Saturday — three of which occurred within five minutes of each other.

Oakland police are investigating an attempted home invasion robbery early this morning in which the suspects claimed to be police officers.
The incident was reported at 3:22 a.m. at a home in the 3000 block of Champion Street, police Officer Jeff Thomason said.
Three suspects knocked on the door of the home and claimed they were Oakland police officers, but one of the people inside the home became suspicious because there was no police car parked outside, Thomason said. Read More
A man accused of robbing as many as seven coffee shops at gunpoint — including some Peet’s and Starbucks stores — was arrested after the quick thinking of a downtown barista.

The San Francisco medical examiner's office has identified 44-year-old Ben Luo as the victim of a fatal shooting during a home-invasion robbery Wednesday evening in the city's Sunset District.
Luo, of San Francisco, was shot at a home in the 2400 block of Moraga St. at about 5:45 p.m., according to police.
