A 63-year-old man was stabbed and robbed while walking down a Mission district street Tuesday night, police said.
Three cowards ganged up on the man at 16th and Capp streets around 10:30 p.m., police said.
One of the punks grabbed him from behind. Another came up and punched him in the stomach. The third demanded the victim’s wallet, police said.

Santa Rosa police on Tuesday arrested a Pacifica man suspected in an armed home invasion robbery Sunday evening.
Steven Andrew Chavez, 21, was arrested on a $120,000 warrant at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday at his home in the 400 block of Lynbrook Drive in Pacifica, Santa Rosa police Sgt. Steve Fraga said.
Inside the home, police found evidence that linked Chavez to the robbery, as well as marijuana believed to be for sale, Fraga said.

A 25-year-old man made a purchase at a smoke shop at Brussels and Dwight streets Saturday around 2:30 p.m. As he left the shop, two men in their 20s asked him for a ride – and he agreed, police said.

Police were searching Sunday for additional suspects in a weekend stabbing of a man in Dolores Park.
The 40-year-old was walking alone through the park early Saturday morning when a group of as many as a dozen people stabbed and robbed him, police said. Police found the man around 1:30 a.m. in an area of the park around 19th and Church streets. He had been beaten, robbed and stabbed multiple times in the torso, Officer Samson Chan said.

Parks are safe despite an armed robbery in John McLaren Park on Saturday, but visitors should be aware of their surroundings when out and about in the city, police said.
The warning comes two days after four unsuspecting men having a picnic were robbed at gun point Saturday afternoon in the park.

Police arrested one of two suspects in a Daly City bank robbery Wednesday morning after a plainclothes officer saw a car speeding away from the bank and other officers chased it into San Francisco.
Two masked gunmen robbed a US Bank branch at 95 Southgate Ave. at 10:15 a.m. One of the suspects jumped over a teller counter and stole money from the drawers, police said.
