Victim finds himself against a wall and without a wallet

A 40-year-old man was thrown against a wall and robbed at gunpoint in the 100 block of Loehr Street on Monday, SFPD said. The hoodlum, described by police as between the ages of 20 and 30, approached the victim holding a gun around 8 p.m. He then pushed the victim against the wall and took the man’s wallet and cash and fled, police said. Apparently channeling the likes of Robin Hood, a thief took off with some cash from a Maiden Lane business Thursday evening. Maiden Lane – an alleyway off Union Square – is filled with high-end shopping including Chanel and Escada, Yves St. Laurent and Diptyque. Robbery suspect nabbed after claiming he had explosive

A San Francisco man is in custody Monday after he and an accomplice allegedly robbed at least one electronics store late last week by threatening he had a powerful explosive, police said. Police spokesman Officer Eric Chiang said a man entered a Radio Shack store at 1799 Lombard St. in the Marina District at 2:50 p.m. on Friday, gathered a bunch of items, walked up to the register, and, claiming he had the powerful plastic explosive C-4, demanded money. Transient suspected of robbing banks arrested

A 41-year-old transient’s robbery spree was cut short after he gave away his own location, according to San Mateo Police.Paul David Stoliker, of Moss Beach, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and booked for robbery after he allegedly took cash from two separate banks, three miles apart.Police were able to track Stoliker because he had asked for medical attention at both locations. Three punks beat and robbed a 29-year-old man in the Mission district early Monday morning, cops said.The victim was near the intersection of Hoff and 16th streets around 12:40 a.m. when the hooligans put him in a chokehold, police said. They kicked him, searched his pockets and stole his cell phone and wallet, cops said. Responding officers managed to arrest one of the suspects at the scene. Crooks lose keys to getaway car

Bumbling crooks robbing a 25-year-old woman Sunday morning had to abandon their getaway car after failing to find the keys, police said. The crooks “picked up” the woman at 17th and Treat streets around 5 a.m., inviting her into their car, police said. A San Carlos man was victimized in his driveway Thursday night when three teenage suspects attempted to rob him, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Alley hog arrested for robbery

A homeless man laying claim to a Tenderloin alley forced another transient pay him for the right to stay there, police said. The victim told cops he was robbed by the homeless man early Saturday morning in the Cedar Street alley near Larkin Street, police said. The man who claimed the alley was his blocked the victim’s path, took money out of his pockets and said, “This is my alley and if you stay here you’re gonna get taxed,” police said. Read More
