SF police officer struck by car, injured

A police officer is in serious but stable condition after being hit by a car while he was on foot Monday night.The officer was in full uniform and out of his vehicle just after 10 p.m. when he was struck while crossing the street at Stockton and Vallejo streets, Officer Brian Oliver said.
