To help improve those conditions, congestion pricing for motorists, new bike lanes on Polk Street, more crosswalks and the implementation of two-way transit routes on local roads are some of the plans being recommended.

A man was injured early this morning when he was struck by a car while walking in San Francisco’s Crocker-Amazon neighborhood, a fire official sa and Ottawa Avenue, San Francisco fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.The 32-year-old man was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. Talmadge said he was conscious but confused, and that she did not know the extent of his injuries. She said he may have suffered some facial trauma.

A man was struck by a car in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood this morning, a fire dispatcher said.The accident was reported at 7:52 a.m. at the intersection of Webster and O’Farrell streets.The man was taken to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center to be treated for his injuries, according to the dispatcher, who did not know the man’s condition.The driver of the car that struck the man stopped at the scene.
