Driver splits after crashing silver pickup into Outer Mission home

Police are investigating a hit and run incident that occurred in the Outer Mission on Wednesday. About 7:40 p.m., police began receiving calls about a silver pickup truck that crashed into a house at Florentine and Morse streets. Crash probe after woman struck in crosswalk

A 56-year-old woman suffered a serious head injury Monday after being struck in a crosswalk just south of Crocker Amazon Playground, according to police. Police initially reported the incident as a hit and run Tuesday morning, but have since revised their report to say the driver did stop at the scene and cooperated with investigators. A pedestrian was struck head-on while crossing at Market and Church streets Wednesday, police said, and the driver fled the scene and left him for dead. Driver accused of hit-run, runs into more trouble

A 32-year-old Antioch man was reportedly driving erratically near the intersection of Eighth and Brannan streets about 9 p.m. Wednesday,  police Officer Albie Esparza said. A police patrol car gave chase, Esparza said, but had to stop for safety reasons. However, Randall Evans ended up striking a vehicle on northbound Sixth Street, Esparza said.
