A trampoline field the size of a baseball diamond will soon be housed in a gutted airport hangar at Crissy Field.
The indoor facility — set to open in August — will consist of 50 conjoined trampolines used for aerial and physical training on trampolines, as well as trampoline dodgeball, fitness classes, and open jump time.

The grand reopening of the new green facility, will take place Saturday. The 7,200-square-foot center was constructed to reduce its environmental impact by using a solar power generator and limited raw materials. The new building boasts energy-efficient lighting systems, a 2,500-gallon rainwater catchment and old-growth redwood salvaged from the historic Cal Park Hill Railway Tunnel.
